Why Is Liftera Ultrasound Good for Eye Lifting?

The skin around the eyes is the thinnest on the face.

Liftera is a High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) laser.

It works by transforming high-intensity ultrasound energy into heat (60 to 100°C) by focusing it on a specific layer of the skin.

This process effectively lifts the sagging SMAS (Superficial Musculoaponeurotic System) layer of the skin, providing immediate lifting results.

In the case of other lasers, a bar-type tip allows for a wide applicator to be treated in a short time.

Liftera, however, features a pen-type handpiece with a small, round tip about 8mm in diameter. This design allows it to effectively treat curved and sensitive areas such as the eyes, nasolabial folds, forehead, and double chin.

Additionally, Liftera delivers energy at an exceptionally high speed. For instance, 100 shots with the line-type provide the same effect as 1,700 shots with the pen-type​.
