If thread lift is performed without facial liposuction, there is a risk that the threads may detach or the cogs may dissolve before sufficient tissue adhesion occurs, leading to reduced lifting effects. The material of the threads also plays a significant role in the durability of the results. Epiticon® threads are specifically designed with a unique structure to minimize the risk of cog dissolution or breakage, ensuring their longevity and optimizing the effectiveness of the lifting results for a long-lasting effect.

A. The procedure is performed with minimal incisions using a cannula, so the resulting scars will be minimal. The marks left are slightly larger than needle punctures but tend to fade over time, becoming less noticeable. However, if scarring remains a concern, laser treatments or other scar management programs can be helpful.
